Personal protection

Personal Protection.
Keep your tow vehicle keys on the night stand. If you sense trouble press the panic button to sound an alarm.
You can also use your tow vehicle headlights to help identify your rig in case you need an ambulance or police. When you place a 911 call alert them that you will have the tow vehicle headlights flashing, it will help lead them to your rig.
Keep your vital medical information and medicine in the refrigerator with a note on the door. Most EMT folks know to look there.
Use your e-mail to help protect yourself. Send yourself an e-mail with important fact that you might need in case your stuff is stolen. You can access your personal e-mail from any computer.
Locks, if it opens put a lock on it. Thieves look for easy access.
Keep a low profile; leave the expensive rings and such in a lock box back at the bank at your home town.
If you have expensive stuff in your tow such as a GPS or I-pod or camera place them under cover while you are away from the vehicle.
If need be use whatever is at hand to protect yourself. Flying insect spray shoots up to 20 feet you may use it instead of pepper spray.
Carry a whistle, shout fire, not help, sadly for some reason it attracts more folks to your aid
Remember, this is the most important part. We are Americans. We have the right to bear arms. Do the work; take the class learn the weapon. Freedom is not free. God Bless America.

This one is not necessarily true, it depends on your service and how you are set up.
