Safe travels to you. So far it appears that you are rapidly covering a lot of ground...do stop and 'smell the roses'.....and take more pictures of them. If your road trip takes you to northern Ca. between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe perhaps we can go to where you are camping and finally meet you in person.

What kind of rally is it? I mean is it an AS only rally? Also, is that 1-of-a-kind an actual AS...some kind of prototype? That's too cool.

It is a WBCCI DenCo Rally. It is their annual maintenance rally with seminars focused on keeping your Airstream in tiptop condition.
The trailer is a 1955 which I understand was one of two made. I will find out more...

The Wally Bee - Luke Berlander (?) had it as a shell on a trailer at the First Vintage Restoration Rally in Albuquerque.

Replaced the 38 year old axels. Work done by Luke in Fort Collins, CO. Heading East this morning into Nebraska.

We've been on the road since 28APR - hunkering down in Bernice, OK; staying away from Tornados as best we can. No leaks so far! Working our way back slowly to CO and WY - fly fishing our brains out along the trip.
