May your trip to Canada be the best ever!

Radar Detectors are illegal to use in Manitoba as well. OK to use in Saskatchewan.

And there are also laws against having the propane on. Last I checked it was true in Manitoba and Nova Scotia. We made it across Manitoba several years ago without getting caught.

Canadian laws on certification of the tanks are stricter than the US. In the US it is every 12 years, Canada, 10. When you go to fill a tank in Canada they are not supposed to fill them if it hasn't been certified within 10 years.

And the money is very colo(u)rful.

It's all loonies and twonies to me.

I think next time we go we will follow I-81 up to the border and then across. After a stop at the Turning Stone Casino near Rome.

I crossed from NY over to Kingston, ON last summer. I was on a motorcycle, so this didnt bother me, but if I remember correctly. The ferry from NY to Wolf Island was pretty small. The ferry from Wolf Island to Kingston was pretty good sized.
You may want to check ahead of time if there are length limits on the ferry out of Cape Vincent NY. It's a long way down there to have to turn back.
Just a head's up..
