"No signal" from back-up camera monitor

My back-up camera monitor keeps showing "No Signal" when it's plugged in. I have my truck lights turned on which usually makes it work. I tightened the antenna on the outside as it was a little bit loose. What else should I do to get it working again? Thanks!

Do you need to pair it again?

Do you have the 7 pin connector plugged in?

You say that you have the truck lights turned on but are the side marker lights on the trailer also lit? (The camera is powered off the same circuit as the lights). If so, then there may be an issue with the connection at the camera or you may have lost the pairing between the camera and monitor. If the trailer side marker lights are not on, then you probably don't have a good connection at the 7-pin connector as turk123 has suggested.

Take the monitor in hand and walk back to the camera while the lights are on.
Does it work then?
If not, try pairing again.

Just move monitor around slowly in your TV to see where you get signal best?

Just a little reminder. Our backup camera doesn’t work if our lights are on “Auto” they have to be turned to “On”. (We have a Ford F-150)

What Ruffit said. We also have an F-150. Love the auto headlight setting, but this gets me every time.

We use our 'backup' camera as a rear view camera...it's powered by the AS, when the red light is on the camera is on.👍
POI...we have a signal booster mounted in the propane locker to prevent signal drops.

Bob,
I have the Voyager review camera that came with our 2018 27' FC.
Signal drops occasionally. I called Voyager, asked for booster. The customer service rep said they don't sell one. I asked about a longer antenna--bought 15" from another company. Seems to do better but still periodically drops. What booster do you have and where can I find it?

Just go to rvcams.com and get their antenna kit to move the antenna to the front of the trailer. Very easy to do and you will have no more signal loss.

I've looked for the one we got for our's,(can't find it), it's an older Furrion and would not be compatible with your unit.
