Night mode photos

I've been looking though some photos I've taken from last year and found some great night mode shots from my iPhone. Keep in mind it was dark outside not at all how the pictures look. There are lots of stars visible. One of the shots has moonbeams reflecting of the Airstream.

All these photos are from the mountains near Cedar City Utah. The next day we visited a high mountain lake.

Those night shots are dramatic. What model iPhone was used? I don’t think my 10 has that function.

iPhone 11. It has a night mode that keeps the “shutter” open. In this case, the exposure was about 3 seconds.

It’s well done technology. The phone compensate for minor movement so you don’t need a tripod.

Thanks. Not quite ready to upgrade yet, but will look for that feature when I am.

Nice pictures!
That is something I am looking forward to doing with my DSLR once I am done rebuilding my Excella.
In the meantime I took this one while working on it.

This thread should be renamed "Airstream by night", and everybody could share their picture. It would be nice IMO.

Hi,

Love the night. Always learning. While the internet may say the DSLR is dead for everyday photographers I love the wide range of shots I can take and the input I have in how they come out.
