Hey guys
Just spent a few weeks at a campground about 20 minutes from where I live in Fort Langley BC (about 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver).
I wanted to take the family camping but couldn't get the time off so I thought I would stay somewhere close.
It's on an island at Fort Langley has 200 campsites and is on more than 40 acres.
You can get a tidal water license and fish in the river (though the salmon run is bad this year, I caught several sturgeon).
You can walk to the supermarket (10 minute walk) and Fort Langley is a quaint little village with an historical fort (used to be a Hudson's Bay fort and the capital of BC)
There is a little cafe at the campground, however the food quality is inconsistant. Better off walking into Fort Langley.
If you are ever up this way, I recomend it !
