We recently spent two nights at TCPC, the Airstream park in East Central Tennessee. Hosts were
very friendly and welcoming as were many of the park residents even though we showed up with the 3 kids and large dog in tow. Beautiful park, great facilities, we used showers, laundry room, and wifi (free wifi doesn't work great at campsites but is terrific in the clubhouse).
The surrounding countryside is gorgeous especially now with the dogwoods in full bloom. On the recommendation of the hosts, we enjoyed the surprisingly good and affordable buffet dinner at the nearby Cumberland Plateau State Park.
Best of all, though the website says $20/night, we were told that they took a vote last week and have now reduced the price to $15/night. All in all a very pleasurable experience. The full-timers there have a lot of activities going including a weekly instrumental jam session followed by ice cream. We highly recommend a visit to this park - warning, you may get there and decide not to leave. Site #128 complete with a '31 foot trailer is for sale.
