New Year camping Burnet, Texas

The Tin Hut is heading to Canyon of the Eagles tommorrow (12/31) and returning on Saturday. Anyone within driving distance to Burnet, Texas and wanting out of town for New Years should join us. Based on reviews (some on this site) it sounds like a great park. Weather should be good except for 50% rain on one day. Highs in the 60's.

Would love to come, but we have made other plans. Our next trip will be to Rockport 1/7 for 4 or 5 days.

You'll love COE.

Let me know how you like Rockport. Maybe we'll try it. Much farther for us....we're in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Be safe.

Sounds like fun, You'll like Canyon of the Eagles. I see on their scheduled events that they will have the observatory open at darkthirty. What a great way to end the year, gazing at the constellations. Hmmmmm maybe we can rearrange our plans and forego the usual New Years party for something a bit more celestial. We're only 30 miles away in Georgetown, so a spur of the moment plan change might be an option. Better check with my better half! Mike

New years

Just look for a '67 sitting there with two youngsters and a dog. Would be nice to meet you. My wife's brother & sister in law live in Austin and will probably drive out for one of the days to say hi.
