New Hamp.-Maine on Hwy 112

Planning on pulling my 30’ on hwy112, Is it doable? I looked on google maps and some of the turns look extreme. Is it anymore extreme than CA 101, WA 410, Yellowstone, etc?

From where are you leaving, where are you headed? I'm only seeing 112 from north of Biddeford up to Gorham.

Last year, we went from Portland to Fryeburg on 113 (then on to Intervale on 302, then on to St Johnsbury). Was a beautiful drive that we took.

Appears you are referring to the Kancamagus Highway. And yes, indeed, you can tow across there, no problems. I just drove it, east to west, in my F250 while at the International rally and passed several Airstreams and other RV's coming the other way.

Not sure where you’re ultimately going. We’ve spent a lot of time downeast, Lincoln over into Washington co/NB Canada/Baxter. Millinocket. Those areas. 2 is pretty rough. 1 and 6 are better than they were. Sections of 6 are horrendous. One trip was an adventure Of not one but 2 flats on the truck on tires with under 5k on them on 6 near Topsfield. Be ready to deal with situations yourself. But I like to roll that way anyway.

Fantastic boondocking all over the place. Do yourself a favor and spend some time at Baxter. My fav place on earth!

The 302 route is what we ran, just the opposite direction, it was fine.

I now see the 112 route south of it: can't say. Adventurous?

If you go 3 to 302 you'll have a better road than the Kancamagus highway, but either are certainly no issue with your rig.

302 affords you a pull off to view and take pics of the Mt. Washington Hotel. It gets busy through North Conway and actually takes you through Fryeburg where the International Rally was.

112, Kancamagus Highway is more scenic, a bit more twisty, maybe a couple grades that you'll go up or down, but no nail biting type stuff.

I was all over that area back in June, no worries.

The Kancamagus Highway is fine for driving between Woodstock/Franconia Notch and Conway, NH. It is in very good condition this year, and is truly scenic.
