need some ideas for this week..

We want to get away this week, think we want to get out of Florida, the humidity has arrived!! We were thinking of Georgia, but...not as far up as Atlanta. Anyone have any suggestions for someplace neat, with nice campsites, and things to do in the area?? Appreciate any feedback on this.

I think the only place to find less heat and humidity in the Southeast right now requires altitude and that's north of Atlanta. But let us know if you find that idylic spot because yes, it sure is hot down here!
