Memorial Day weekend in western CO?

I just started a thread looking for route recommendations from Zion to Jackson Center starting May 23. It looks like we'll be in western Colorado for Memorial Day weekend and I've got to get something booked asap.

Any campground recommendations? We'd be looking for something more rv-park-like (on the theory it would be less rowdy) as opposed to a state or municipal park, although the latter is normally our preference.

Thanks, gatorboy, for your response. As it turns out, we had already stayed at Morefield, and from there had gone to Arches, Capitol Reef, and Zion, and by Memorial Day weekend, had planned to be further north in Colorado.

I did find the perfect place to ride out the weekend, in Cedaredge, Colorado, just minutes from the Grand Mesa. Shady Creek RV Park, which is basically in the owners backyard. Just 3 other rigs here, the owners prefer retired couples without kids, just what we were looking for, ha-ha.

Best of all, a beautiful creek runs the back of their property and the view from our AS is stunning. Love falling asleep to the sound of water flowing.
