We got home last night after spending 5 days at Cyclone Lake on the White Mountain Apache Reservation in Arizona. My Flyfishing Club rents the lake every year for the Memorial Day weekend. That's right, we rent the entire lake. This year we had 85 people attend. I know because I helped cook 85 steaks for the dinner on Saturday. Here is a view from my trailer to the lake. Another is from the other side of the lake looking at my Trade Wind. The last is someone trying to block my view! No matter how far you fravel you just can't get away from those moderators, it's Brad (flyfshr).

What a great idea for an event!
An aside...I'm a newbie at flyfishing -- my husband just outfitted me with flyfishing gear. He has been flyfishing for years and ties his own flies too. I have wanted to learn for years...looks very relaxing.

Bass Lake
Went to Bass Lake, CA for 4 days and nights. Had a wonderful time in the Airstream. Besides hanging around the AS eating and drinking, we did some fishing, kayaking, swimming, jetskiing, dart playing, 4-wheeling, picniking, wiffle balling, etc. Moose(the dog) likes to see how many pinecones he can stuff in his mouth. He had six at one point! Here's some Pics...

Sunset From the Camp Porch
The Airstream is still in the driveway - but at least we made it to the camp for a barbeque!

Well said and painfully true that there are those who take our freedom for granted while the dedicated few pay dearly for the rest to enjoy those precious freedoms.

Memorial Day 2007
Just back...
A photo report from a great week in Florida at St Andrews in Panama City.
We just missed the Tropical Storm that went east of us.
Temps were fantastic, water and air.
Lots of fly overs kept us in the right frame of mind.
View out our back windows...
Camp Sweet Camp
Scurvy Dogs !!!
No...I don't want to swim...
Dang, this hurts...
Stuffed flounder at Pier 77
Work really stinks...
Setting the sail...
we're off...
Zoom...I'm ready to go back
Full Moon most of the week...

Klattu, those are really great shots. My favorites are the sunset, S.S. Ripley, and Caddie. We are going to have to try St. Andrews some time. We were at St. George Island State Park, FL for Memorial Day Weekend and the weather was truly beautiful that weekend, too. We have a trip to Ft. Wilderness for July 4th and then our next trip is back to Top Sail Hill for Labor Day. If you all are free for that weekend, come on down!

Here are a couple of photos from our first trip in our "new" Sovereign. This was at a place called Santos Trailhead, a park with several mountain bike trails. We had the oldest trailer, and only Airstream, in the place.
