May upper Midwest ideas?

Just bought a new tow vehicle and getting ready for an early May road trip. We did Ohio and Indiana last year any good ideas within 500 miles of southern Michigan? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Cold here this time of the year

Long way for you but an unusual place I recommend is the Lakehead Boat Basin in Duluth. They have RV parking with hookups on the asphalt area a stone's throw from Lake Superior, right downtown next to canal park.

All the U.P. It's 300 miles to the bridge, then hang a left.

Northern Arkansas, Buffalo River area. Great camping, hiking, canoeing and historical sites. Eureka Springs, AR is a must see & do as well.
