Maiden Voyage


We have just returned from our MAIDEN VOYAGE with our 1975 Overlander. We are on Cloud Nine !!!

Friday, we journeyed a mere 55 miles down the Southern California freeways to San Clemente State Beach. We've been camping there with friends and family annually since 1956, but this was the first time in an Airstream!

Everything went great! Friends visited, champagne was consumed, and a good time was had by all.

Today (Sunday) we returned. Now we are planning another weekend trip in 2 weeks.

Great looking trailer. Love that welcome mat.

That's a good choice for a maiden voyage. Far enough to learn how things are going to go, Short enough so that there is minimum stress.
