Looking for GPS Unit

I'm in the market for a GPS, but the miriad of units is mindboggling. Leaning toward a Garmin, but which model? There are so many features. I'm not directionally challenged, but would like to have the info about campgrounds in the area we are traveling in more quickly available than what is the current method, asking the spouse. Help me save a marriage, Please!

Have you considered the iPhone? There are GPS applications as well as applications for attractions/restaurants/campgrounds/etc. Much more functional if you are able to use AT&T for your cell service.
