Looking for Campground on southern side of DFW

Does anyone have a recommendation for a campground within 60 miles of DFW on the southern side? I would prefer something scenic it can have hook ups or no hook ups.

There’s a state park and county park on Joe Pool Lake south of Arlington.

Loyd Park at Joe Pool Lake

Never been to either, but our WBCCI unit camps at Loyd Park every year so it can’t be a bad place to be. Good luck!

We've camped at Cedar Hill State Park on two occasions. Both times it was a great camping experience.

This past summer we stayed at Arlington KOA for a few days while the grandsons visited Six Flags. Very nice KOA in an urban setting.

There is an Airstream only trailer park in Hillsboro,Texas , located about 46 miles south of DFW on I-35. I have used their services, but would recommend checking them out online.

Closer to DFW, is the Traders Village RV Park located in Grand Prairie. Quiet, laid back and near the Grand Prairie Outlet mall, and also with about 25 restaurants within 10 minutes of the RV park.
