Little Rock AR, Downtown Riverside RV Park...
My wife and I are planning a trip through Arkansas, saw this RV park:
https://downtownriversidervpark.com/
Anybody ever stay there? Are there better places in the area? Is there a way to walk to the other side of the river?
Thanks,
Blair

We have never stayed there because of the noise of the interstate, but we do stay at Rebmassen Park, which is near I-430. Very nice Corps park.
If you stay at Riverside along side of the interstate, there are many restaurants on the other side of the interstate. I would be very careful about walking in the area at night. If we stayed there, we would drive to the restaurants and drive back home if it was after dark.
We have lived in the Little Rock area for many years and then retired to Hot Springs Village.

The park near I430 is Maumelle Park. COE park and open all year. Lots of walk up spots. Our Riveted Razorbacks Airstream club has a rally at the NLR Riverside RV park June 8-11. Come join us.

Yes you can cross the river and go right to the Clinton library and many restaurants, museums and shops. I’d consider it safe at night and I live in little rock

Senior moment. Yes, thanks for the correction. It is indeed Maumelle Park. You will like it very much. As for walking at night, the Riverfront area itself is safe. I am not sure that I would walk from the RV park and back, especially late at night. But, to each his own. We moved to Little Rock in 79, but have grown more cautious with age.

We stayed there in 2013 on our first extended AS outing. Then it was a gravel parking lot with all services. The laundry and facilities were clean and we thought it was completely safe. It's clearly gone up a few notches since then.
It is a great location. Besides the Clinton library the Arkansas Inland Marine museum is in walking distance. In addition to other exhibits the museum offers tours of the USS Razorback World War 2 submarine. It's worth your time.

Great park, stayed last year on our way to Escanaba. Yes, there is the Clinton library if one is so inclined. You can Uber to Riverfront Park (shops, restaurants, neat book store), or it’s a short 5 minute drive. Lots of activity when we were there, no safety concerns for us.

If you are going towards Conway there is a good Coe park called Toad Suck Park that is on the river.

Certainly looks like an interesting location. We'll likely give it a try if we stop in Littlerock. Not currently on our todo but maybe in a few years. Appreciate the feedback of those that stay at the downtown park. Pat

Love This Park
Can't go wrong staying at this park. Close to the river. Little Rock skyline looks great at night. Footbridge across the river to the Clinton Library and other venues makes it unique. Also, very economical for what you get. Someone complained about the traffic noise - that has never been an issue for us when we stay there. And finally, when our travels take us through Little Rock, we make it a point to stay here.

Petit Jean
Petit Jean was one of the best places we have stayed on our 4 month journey in over 30m locations! Will go back someday.

We live in Little Rock and love staying at this park. Noise from the interstate is not a problem. It is right on the 16 mile AR River Trail if you are into riding bikes. Many great brew pubs close by. We love it!
