Last trip for a while

Over the last couple of days I made my last trip for a while. I hope. On Monday I start my 90 trial with the dept of Health and Human services for the state of MT. I am hoping this work out for both of us and I am offered permanent employment. I had expected to arrive yesterday but it was raining in the valleies and possibly snowing on the one pass I needed to cross. That extra night in Missoula cost me $750. A friend of mine said "what are you goign to wear monday?". I said I did not know yet. Let go shopping. So we did. I now have a new professional winter wardwobe. I should have left while I had a chance.
I have arrived and settled in at the last RV park open for winter. I hope to be here a minimal of time. Once I have convinved them I am the person for the job and I still want the job. I will be seriously looking for a house.

So if you are passing through Helena drop me a note!

Congratulations on the new start. Life has its unseen turns and you have certainly handled the last few with grace. I hope to see you out on the road.

Hey Michelle! Good to hear from you. And I understand that winter wardrobe statement very well. It's struggling to make it to 70 these days -- unseasonably cool. Least the mosquitoes have gone away. But hain't had no brrr-racing cold since you were this way last. Maybe we can have a mild winter if you keep putting salt on Sarah's tail. Babe the Blue Ox has nothing on her! Staying put has its benefits but will be quite unusual for you. Your support system is here 24 hours a day (or at least markdoane always is to remind us when mods are in their cups... ).

Michelle, good luck with your new career. Do you think it's a "keeper?"

That's terrific Michelle. Post us a picture of the new professional Michelle. I'm wishing you lots of success and missing you too. Orie has been asking where his Auntie Michelle has been. Any plans to be passing by this winter again?

After my first day I would say the people are keepers. Hard workers. The job is going to be difficult the next few months. I have a lot of catching up to do.

The security officers position was supposed to be filled 6 months ago.
I will know in a ffew weeks if the job is a keeper

Glad you had a promising start on your first day. Good luck and hope things go well for you. I know you will have a lot of getting used to moving back into a house again after full-timing for the past couple of years.

Hope to see you at a rally down the road some time.

Michelle, I do hope everything works out well for you. The change of adjusting to a house will be one I am sure you can deal with. All my best to you.

Well,
The 90 day trail ended after 5 days. I had my first review this morning. It did not go well. She gave me until Wednesday to correct the issues. There were fundemental differences in the way we approach things. I could not make those change in three days. They were asking to much without any guidance or training. I resigned. I tried so hard to get that job now a week later I am looking again. I just hope that house I want is still available when I find another job!

Well,
I spent most of the morning in bed resting from physically and mentally exhausting day on Friday and the rest of the week.
I and going to spend the rest of today exploring and sole searching. Tomorrow I am going to do some job hunting in Helena. I like the area.

I am beginning to think I not supposed to go back to the computer industry....

Well Mechelle, at least you had sense enough to get out before being trapped in an unpleasant situation. It's best not to try and pound ones round pegness into a square hole job.

That's what I thought.

Michelle- Nothing could be worse than being stuck in a job that isn't right for you. Imagine if the job wasn't right and you bought that house - now you are trapped. Be grateful it was clear early on it wasn't right for you. The right one will come along.
