Lake Shasta

Hs anyone stayed at an RV park at Lake Shasta and do you have any recommendations, We are planning a trip in April which would include going past Lake Shasta and it has always intrigued me, any recommendations. Thanks Russd

There is a nice KOA in the area. Stayed there several times.

I've stayed at Shasta Lake RV Resort on Lakeshore drive, which I thought was very nice. There is an off ramp from I-5 close by, but the park itself is far enough off the freeway to be quiet and pastoral.
