We're off to meet other 4C'ers at Williams, AZ for our annual Labor Day Roving Rally. Last year was Meteor Crater. Next year is yet to be determined. Really looking forward to this one.

We were headed to Biloxi, MS and the Gulf Coast but Hurricane Gustaf ruined that plan so we are headed to the Horn Lake area near Memphis to get some ribs, beer and blues.

Like InsideOut we are doing camping duties out back. It is a zoo in CG's in this area the last long weekend before school starts. We have a very private treed area with creek ( unusually full this year, usually this time of year it is dry as a bone) and we will have a few friends over to BBQ. They may even bring their trailers if they decide to kick back. It should be a fine weekend.

You'll LOVE HH. We've been and met the nicest people. The views are spectacular. Be sure to travel over to Floyd VA and wander the little burg. Several good restaurants. Wife likes the Fabric store. Floyd is part of the 'Crooked Road Trail' for traditional music. You'll most likely have the opportunity to hear some genuine authentic mountain music.

In dry dock
The Trade Wind is in dry dock this weekend (and many to come) working on a lengthy list of repairs that built up over the summer on the (far to often gravel and worse condition) road. Hopefully by the winter break she will be at 100% for the great Padre Island beach adventure

 Hi, we went to San Diego last weekend; Got a tour of the Naval Base and went to the Tall-Ship Show. So this weekend we will stay parked at home.
