Janes Island State Park, Crisfield MD

This weekend we camped at Janes Island State Park. It is located in Crisfield MD and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised as I had not been there in years. The sites were very well maintained, shady and flat. Some of the sites have spectactular views of the sunset. The roads were all paved and very nice for biking for all ages. There is a boat ramp and you can rent canoes and kayaks to paddle the water trails around Jane Island. Also there is a very nice area that is part of the ranger station which is air conditioned and has a beautiful view of the Island.

The bathrooms were very clean and two have been recently updated. If there was one con it is that the sites only have electric, no water. There is a pumpout station

We stayed there several years ago it is pretty great. Bought some chicken necks and a couple of crab traps and had fried crabs for dinner.
