Illinois State Fair campers work to dry out after record-setting rainfall

August 13, 2016 - "The Keysers' Airstream was one of 54 campers in Happy Hollow that were uninhabitable after a Friday evening thunderstorm dropped more than 5 inches of rain in two hours and caused extensive flooding throughout the fairgrounds. Water on the west end of Happy Hollow where the Airstream was parked was estimated at 4 to 5 feet."

Kim & Greg, if you are AirForums members and see this post, so sorry to hear of your misfortune. Hope your water damage isn't as bad as it sounds, and you and your Airstream are back on the road soon.

How about everybody in Louisiana? Is anyone else afloat this weekend? Hope everyone is safe and dry!
