Looking for a safe overnight pit stop for us and the dogs while traveling through Kentucky on I64.

KOA just off interstate near Ashland . We use this on the way to Ohio. Just a pullin stay the night type place.

We stayed at this koa last night... We were pretty water logged from a severe thunderstorm and flash floods. But the campsite was easy to access up for and was mostly gravel so we didn't get too muddy… Plus full hookups. Good overnight place😊Click image for larger version

We usually use the rest areas. There is a flying J near Ashland also, Can't recall the mile marker

Near Frankfort KY the Elkhorn campground is a couple miles off of I64 on the East side of town. Heres the address:165 N Scruggs Ln
