Made it from Georgtown TX to Baton Rouge yesterday on 10. Drive was "ok", only a couple slow downs due to accidents, but very dangerous if you don't watch other drivers speeding! Speed limit is 50-60mph due to construction in many places, however drivers seem to "all" want to go 80-85! Speed limit is not even close to being followed, or you will find people on your rear end so close you can see the whiskers on drivers! Worst part of the "road" is between Houston and the LA border where it is in disrepair. Be careful, and mindful of the construction barriers, and watch other drivers...

Next stop Panama City Beach tonight and taking highway 12 around NO. This part of the drive I remember the road can also be bad going into Biloxi thru Gulfport. Stay tuned...
