Hooked to city water only the shower works
I hooked a clean water hose to my outside and put the other end into the city water opening. Checked the faucets. Shower worked. But the lav sink and the kitchen sink nothing. No spitting or hissing. No water and silent. Looked underneath and all the valves are open. Hmmm. Any ideas? I should add that the fresh water tank is empty.

I'm confused. I'm not trying to be a knucklehead, but could you explain just where you hooked the water hose?
Maybe it's your wording, and I don't own a Caravel, but to hook to city water normally involves screwing your hose to a hose bib of some sort, and then screwing the other end of the hose to the city water inlet.

Did you put the hose in the fresh water tank fill, or connect to the city water inlet? If the drains underneath are open then there should be water pouring out of them if connected to city water and connected to the city water inlet of your trailer. If you filled the water tank then you need to use the pump to supply water. Possibly the aerators are plugged solid on your kitchen and bath taps, so remove and clean them. Drains on the underside should be closed if using any type of water system.

The normal opening for filling the fresh water tank is where you put a hose into the opening. Usually behind a locked door.
The City Water Inlet is a female hose barb flush to the trailer side.
You'd attach your "clean" hose there.
I'll second Majorairhead.

Have they ever worked before?
If not, are there shut off valves under the sinks?

Do the faucets work when the water pump is on? My guess: blocked filters in the faucet fixtures could be the problem. Screw them off and check.

Bluetick....I agree with checking the filters on the sink and galley faucets. I've had them block the water flow completely with a white material that looks like it may be calcium deposits.

It was a matter of retracing my steps. It finally dawned on me that I may have already shut the outside water off because I was expecting some colder weather. Went into the basement and therein lay the problem. A half turn of a ball valve and voila, water from all the faucets in the RV. Who'da thunk it?
But some of the input got me thinking about the filters and how to either clean or replace them if they ever become occluded from mineral deposits.

Bluetick....You said in your original post you had water in the shower and no water in "lav sink and the kitchen sink". How did you have water in the shower if the water supply to the trailer was shut off in the basement?

It had been hooked to city water before and there was probably residual water in the pipes of the shower but not the sinks.
