Help planning a 2 week trip

Where in the northeast? And what do you like to do?

Sounds like you already have an idea of where you're going. Two weeks means limiting you distance unless you want to spend the whole trip driving. Suggest you plan the trip around a 1000 mile circle, that way you're not doubling back but seeing new areas the whole time. Be creative, flexible and limit your per day mileage to a reasonable amount.
