Greetings from Pecan Grove RV Austin TX

Love the place. Nice to camp without packing food and misc. Everything is at my new back door. Can't wait to return.

That is probably the most desired RV Park in Austin to get into. How far in advance did you have to book your reservation?

Its a nice place. We rented a spot for our Motor Home when the Stones played in Zilker Park, within walking distance...

That sounds great. We want to do something similar. We're in the suburbs out here and just want to rent a spot for a couple nights, walk to dinner, walk to some music venues and just have a relaxing weekend downtown.

Got lucky on the spot. Called about 2 weeks b4 and snagged 2 spaces. It's was a nice trip. I will be back so if you could keep your requests to a minimum, that would be great.

We were able to show up unannounced 2 years ago (Feb 2010) and was able to get 2 nights a couple of weeks before SXSW. It is one of the last places like that in Austin. All of its neighbors who use to be RV parks have sold out to condo developers. While we were there t actually snowed!
