Great Smoky Mountain National Park

We are thinking about visiting the "Smoky" area in the summer. We have a 27 ft. AS with a 21 ft. Ram TV. Looking for suggestions: 1. good campgrounds (level with full hookups); 2. good day hikes from moderate to strenuous (we like views); 3. interesting historic sites; 4. any other must sees in the area. We are coming down from northern Vermont. Route suggestions???
