Great Heating Solution

Hi folks, we are here in beautiful Eugene, Oregon at Premier Resorts - more on that in a bit.

We had to head down to TX for a family emergency, and are now waiting out the snow and ice north of us to get home to Washington.

Glad I brought my Dyson heater along. Fits nicely in the corner in the bedroom of our 23FB, and is much quieter than running the furnace all the time. It stows nicely in the large coat closet when on the road, and I put pillows around it so it is safe.

Campsite is amazing. One of the nicest we’ve seen. Pasture next to us had over 100 wild turkeys in it last night, and I counted over 32 elk out there this AM while walking the pups.

We live in FL but travel out of state. Last week, we stayed at Powhatan recreational area outside of Asheville. One of our top 10 parks.
While we were there, it got down at nights to the low 20s. We too have an electric heater that we use when it's cold. It's so effective that the propane heat doesn't come on when the electric heater is on and we thought that might be a problem.
The propane heat directs a portion of the heat into the basement to keep the tanks from freezing. We thought, and correct me if I'm wrong, that if we ran the electric heat too long, we had a chance for our tanks to freeze because the propane heat wasn't running. Let me know if thats a wrong assumption. BTW, we have a 2018 27 ft Globetrotter.

You might have to stay put another day or so. I am in the Seattle area, and we have about 8" of snow. Rare to get that much here, so the roads are a real mess.

Stay warm!
