Grayton Beach State Park Pictures?

I am getting ready to go to Grayton Beach State Park and was hoping someone might know where there would be some pictures of the sites to look at. I am specifically interested in site 7 and site 48. I believe site 7 is somewhat private (no sewer) but small and site 48 is larger (with sewer) but with no trees. I am willing to stay without sewer if 7 is a much better site so I am trying to locate pictures if possible.
Thanks in advance,
Greg

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

I just took a ride over to Grayton. The first two pictures are Site #48. The second two are of Site #7. As you are aware 48 is full hook-ups and 7 is electric/water. 7 is kind of tight and will not be an easy back-in.

good pix moose'

the water/electric sites are in a much OLDER area of the park,

with a LOT of brush and some trees.

these are mostly very private because of the brush and the sites are ON SAND.

they are also further IN to the park but still not ON/visible to the water (like henderson beach sp)

the 3 way sites are in a new section (last year) with paved roadways and pea gravel ?? sites.

i think tarmac was originally planned but the budget altered that ??

there is still some privacy in the new area from brush, but not as much SHADE.

your 25 would fit in either, but the older sites are TIGHTer by far.

my preference would be NEW sites in fall/winter/spring and old sites in summer perhaps.

also factor in distance to showers and length of stay (towing to the dump station is a pia)

i've not checked prices for this year but suspect there is a differential?

cheers

Also, be aware that the park is being used as a staging are or the BP oil clean-up crews.

Brian,
That was above and beyond, thanks so much for the special effort. Based upon the BP staging area do you feel like one site better than the other? Based upon your pictures I would probably choose to have the sewer and sacrifice the trees. What are your thoughts?
Thanks again for the special effort.

I agree. I would go with 48 for the full hook-ups and ease of getting into it. It is just as nice there as in the old section.
