Here is iOS link:
Sygic Truck GPS Navigation by Sygic a. s. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sygi...992127700?mt=8

I may give this a try. There is a 14 day free premium trial, then $9.99 a month with other plans, including lifetime for $139.99.

There is a less expensive car-oriented version as well.

I have found that we don’t encounter very many bridges that are lower than 9.5 FT, but we haven’t gone through many small towns on the east coast. If I were towing a 5th wheel I may want a modified GPS but between my phone, truck GPS, and allstays app (identifies bridge heights) we seem to be okay.

We came through just one low railroad bridge in Mississippi on one trip. It was posted at 12 feet, which was not the main concern. The thing was aligned funny and the roadway was real narrow inside it. Went through with all the lights on at a crawl after observing the traffic very carefully. Doesn’t happen that often.

Be sure you know the exact height of the Airstream including all the fixed antennas and stuff. Mine will flex if they hit something but the noise is unnerving!

Other thing to think about too is if it’s a rounded tunnel, the height marker is typically for the tallest part of the tunnel which is closer to the middle. It may require a tow vehicle to travel in the middle lane vs outside lane. As Krum said, slow crawl. When in doubt, avoid the tunnel and don’t go through.

The real ‘joy’ was coming up on this thing with warning signs about 10 feet in front of the opening, and no room to turn around in front of it. Pucker Factor was real high as I slowed to a crawl, eased toward the center, and went through it carefully.
