I do think electric vehicles are the future, at least until the next thing. Perhaps Musk went off the rails with all his projects.
However, I just don't think the technology is there...yet.

Having ridden trains in the UK, I'll say they're ON TIME (to the minute), clean, safe, and reasonably priced. Compare them to Amtrak and you see why Americans aren't rushing to jump on the "light rail" or "Bullet train" bandwagon.
