The fastest route for driving from Cincinnati to St. Petersburg is I-75 south to about 15 miles north of Tampa, then take I-275 through Tampa to St. Petersburg. If you stay on I-75 you will instead bypass both of those cities, miles to the east.

I 75 will take you there. Common sense and a map will get you the rest of the way. It's a big area, where in Tampa, st Pete do you want to go?

I 175 over the Howard Frankland Bridge and take the 688 (Ulmerton ) exit and follow the signs to Clearwater.

Driving a van (not towing) I've gone from the Tampa airport to Cincinnati in just under 18 hours. That included about 3 hours of stops for food, gas, restroom, and miserable weather. I was doing around 70+ MPH the entire way (except in Kentucky).
The entire Kentucky portion was subject to a heavy snow storm that forced me to reduce speed. I also had to stop 2-3 times because the wiper blades needed to be cleared of ice some of the snow was sticking to them and refreezing, even with wipers at maximum and the heat/defrost settings on maximum. But that was in early March.

I think you mean I-275. I believe I-175 is spur off I-275 towards the old airport just southeast of downtown St. Petersburg.
