Question Fla Keys campground questions

My favorite long time haunt in the Fl Keys- Fiesta Key KOA is falling to the developers bulldozer as of April 1 '07. A very sad day indeed. Looking for a new spot of which there are few. The state parks are booked so I am considering Knights Key ( Marathon), Sunshine Key, Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge, Siesta Key KOA, or Boyds( Key West). Looking for suggestions and opinions on these places if anyone has camped them before I plunk down a deposit.

Not retired military but I did get to take in the sights of Viet Nam courtesy of the US Army . Ah , to be 19 again and do an R&R in Bangkok.

63air, Haven't stayed at knights key, sunshine key is all cuban (I worked at the dive shop there during the 70's). Big Pine fishing lodge is very nice, but doesn't allow dogs because of the key deer, ( I lived on Big Pine during the 70's). Boyds has been redone and seems to be very nice. I was on Stock Is. 2 weeks ago and went by it and was amazed at the transformation. Hope this helps. --mark--
