Fiama Bike Rack Alternatives

We have a FC 25, new 2020. We decided to order a Fiama bike rack. Then by accident today I stumbled on another string about issues with the rack. I don't wish to debate it here, though if you want to tell me your experiences, please PM me.

THE QUESTION IS: WHAT ALTERNATIVES DO I HAVE?

Here's what I've identified so far:

1. Put the bikes in the trailer (these are big bikes!) where they'll bounce around and wreak havoc.
2. Put a hitch receiver on the back of the trailer (my trusted hitch guy said he won't do it because of "liability") (???)
3. Get a different rack installed on the AS
4. Get folding bikes that will either lighten the load on a bike rack or fit more easily inside the trailer or the bed of the truck.

None of these are perfect, but I'm kind of desparate for options. I'd appreciate any direction.

For years we traveled with the bikes on the cap of the truck with the fork mount sprocket rockets. We now travel with the kayaks on the roof of the truck's cap and the bikes on the Fiama bike rack.

There are advantages and disadvantages to each option. Option number 2 would not be an option for me. Understanding how an Airstream is constructed as opposed to how the other brands (boxes) are constructed tells me that adding a receiver can cause the body to separate from the frame. A very expensive problem.
