dry camping small campground and a nice walk to the ocean. Small campground so depends on how big your trailer 25 ft would be the max.

We like Salt Point State Park north of Jenner. Half Moon Bay State Beach is another favorite.

Assuming you're coming up 101 from SF as opposed to over Mt Tam via Mill Valley~Stinson Beach...if you have some extra time, lay over in Petaluma at the KOA and drive up 101 to Santa Rosa for the day.

There is the Charles Schultz museum ( https://schulzmuseum.org/ ) as well the Luther Burbank home & Garden ( http://www.lutherburbank.org/ ). Among other things he is responsible for the development of the Easter Lilly and the Santa Rosa Plum. If you're a gardener, this is a must tour.

There is some camping at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds so you could layover there and continue up 101 a few miles to River Road westbound (& past Korbel) to connect with 116 to Guerneville and Jenner & HWY1. Just past Monte Rio is Cassini Ranch CG ( https://casiniranch.com/ ) where I understand the NorCal Wally club often holds rallies. A good start to the trip up hwy 101.

Nice.

There’s also a KOA in Cloverdale, then you can take 128 from Cloverdale to the coast. Hendy Woods is along the way.

The Sonoma and Mendo coasts are amazing.
