European Airstream Camping

Now you'll be happy to know that there is an Airstream camping in Europe, south of France. It's the first of his kind and it's a trully wonderfull and exciting place.
What do you think about that !
We love Airstreams.

Perry ~

Would love to see some pictures & have more info on your Airstreams...how did you get them? Are they vintage or newer? Did you ship them from US or find them there? Have you had to do any major modifications? Are you able to get original parts?

Cool, I love hearing about all the extra effort you Europeans go through to support your A/S dreams...I'll bet you get all kinds of unique comments in France! Share some when you get a chance...

Shari

Perry- welcome to our internet forums family!
One of my favorite photos is the well known one of the Airstream with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
My wife and I loved visiting Paris , and can't wait to get to go to the South of France someday.

We're in the South of France in the pyrenees, very beautifull, Paris is about 600miles from us.
Hope to see you at our airstream campsite one day here.
You don't have to bring your airstream all the way, we have some here for hire, but only on site.

Hi Ron
Nice to hear from one nearer home.
Yes we do have an Airstream campsite, the info will be on line very soon, I will let you know.
Yes I do know about working on Airstreams and friends who have worked on them too, what's your problem ?
Does your son like to snowboard as my son teaches and runs a snow park in Andorra, not far from our Airstream campsite.

Thumbs up NEW AIRSTREAM SITE

Hello every one !
Well as promised, my site is now ready. www.thehazzards.com/air.htm
There will be even more photos in the futur.
There is all the info on the rally that I'm organising here in Europe.
Also about our campsite.
I'm not using this forum for publicity
I genuingly love Airstreams in the tradition of Wally Byam. I try to get the fun side out of all this and to meet nice people like yourselves;
I must say, I had a warm welcome joining this forum.
When I can rememnber some of my Airstream stories, I'll get them out to you all.
Untill then, have fun.
Bye
PERRY

Nice web site Perry---hope to visit some day and stay in one of those rentals.

Newstreamer - it would be good if you would list your location in your profile, makes for even more interesting reading of posts. Not a requirement, just a thought.
