Eugene Oregon Camping

My wife and I will be picking up our new 16' CCD Bambi this Friday in Eugene Oregon from Sutton RV. We are planning on camping Friday evening in the Eugene area to give us time to test the trailer's "systems" before driving back to Boise and away from the dealer.

I'd like suggestions on RV camp grounds in the Eugene area.

Thank you,

Willy

PS: I tried sending this once before and don't think it went. But if it did I'm sorry for cluttering up the forum.

lets see...

Its been a long time since i have camped down there but i recall camping at Fall Creek Res, east of Eugene/Springfield. There is also Dexter Lake out there too.

If you want want to head north a ways before pulling over for the night and would like something off I-5, there are a couple RV parks along the way and there is Silver Falls outside of Silverton.

Hi Willy-

We moved to Eugene last August and have a 19' CCD. You'll love it.

There is a county park out by Fernridge Lake called Richardson. No sewer, but it has electric and water.

If you want full hook ups there is a nice clean park just to the south called Deerwood. We stay there while looking for a rental.

Enjoy!
