Doran Sonoma county park

Has anyone camped here and do they have first come first serve sites?
If so what time should I show up?

We camp there every January to crab out of our kayaks. Usually stay for 4 or 5 nights, They do have first come sites, easy with your small rig. The park is clean, the day use jetty area gets crowded on weekends with fishing folks. they could do a better job of picking up after themselves, but the park staff cleans up pretty quickly.
It's windy there tho in the winter you can luck into nice weather. In spring time the locals call it "Blowdega Bay".

We were just there, left on Thursday to miss the rain. They have "first come first served" sites in both the jetty and circle campgrounds. We came in on Sunday and it was deserted. It appears to get busy or full on the weekends.
Beautiful beach to walk and fog horn to remind you where you are.
