deLIGHTed

We usually avoid arriving at a campground in the dark, but last night we came in just as the sun was setting and it was difficult to see our site clearly. My wife had a great idea. We used two battery operated lanterns that we carry and set them in the back of the site to help me back into the exact space I wanted to occupy. It worked perfectly. No yelling between the two of us about"little to the left" or "right"or "stop" etc!!!!!

A couple of those solar powered lights that people put out might be good also.

In daylight when we need some kind of a reference to park to we will either string out an extension cord or use a couple of the small orange cones that can be bought at horse places.

Yeah, I like that one. A line of those small solar powered lamps and you have your own runway approach. In my driveway I have a block of wood so when I back my truck in I stop with enough room to open the tailgate if I need to.

If you carry those red reflective triangles for roadside emergency stops (and if you don't you should carry them!), they also make great markers for backing into a parking space. They don't need batteries, and your trailer's taillights should light them up well enough to see them in your mirrors.
