Dead Horse Point CG/Moab UT

Here are some pics from our recent trip to Dead Horse Point State CG near Moab.

Had a wonderful time! Highly recommend that campground - electric and nice views. Very quiet.

Enjoy...

Sandy

We were there in late Sept.. Really enjoyed it.

Also spent a few nights in Devils Garden CG over in Arches NP. Had a little better site there.

Absolutely beautiful out there,,

We'll have to hit Devil's Garden next time. Glad to hear you like it out there. Boondocking there if I am not mistaken?

Yes it was without any hook-ups, but we hit a cooler time (maybe the altitude helped) but did not need anything. We just stayed two nights there. We did the 4 wheel drive trail, hiked to all the arches, pretty much went through the whole park in three days/two nights, so it worked out great.

Notice the concrete pad, it was spotless. One of the few places we've camped where we could go barefoot in camp! Ha

Very neat site. Thanks for sharing the photos! Wish our AS was not buttoned up for winter! Getting the urge to head out on a trip...
