Davis Mountain State Park RV Sites
Driving to Davis Mountain State Park from Maverick RV park in Lajitas, TX with my 28 foot airstream and 3/4 ton gas RAM truck. Are there any major elevation changes or curvy roads with steep drop offs to be forewarned about?

We’ve camped there several times. The Skyline Drive going up to the observation area would be iffy. But I don’t remember any challenging areas other than what I mentioned. Good luck

Take Hwy 118 through Alpine and all is well. We did it in 2021 and it was OK...Davis State Park is very nice.
