Critters....

Hey peeps... C&N back with y'all with a question about home invaders... Mice and such.

We are wondering if our little "friends" have been an issue for y'all.... Is there much of a concern about mice while we're in and using the coach?

We travel with our best friend, Yogi.....Our dog. Do animals help keep the mice away?

I'm really big on trying to stop something from happening in the first place, so anything you can recommend to keep them out in the first place would be wonderful.

We'll be picking up our new AS International in a couple of months, so setting up a bulwark right from the get-go is absolutely great.

As always, thanks a MILLION for your hard-earned travel wisdom and experience. Y'all have been GREAT.

C&N

We've never had any CRITTER issues. Maybe an ant or two but nothing bothersome. I think it's a rare dog that will help with a mouse issue. Cats are much more useful there but if you have a dog that does they are a keeper.

We were parked in the Mountains of western Montana the summer of 2015 and were invaded by squirrels, of all things! Seems they can squeeze into very small openings just like nice can. We bought a couple of cans of expanding foam spray to close the little holes under the wheel wells and near compartments where hoses and wires come in. Shut them babies out!

Very good advice...HD actually has a foam that is made specifically for mice prevention.
