If only for batteries, no.

Full disclosure: a 20+ year Costco junkie here. There is a ton of value in shopping at Costco, not to mention how helpful the staff is - and it's country wide. I suppose if you join and save the fee against the price difference of the batteries you can experience it for a year and make a decision later. With Executive Membership and normal shopping you likely will not have to pay out of pocket for the annual dues. Used to live in WA with one literally 2 miles away. Now in GA it's pretty much an all day affair to visit the one in Sharpsburg so we just make a 'Costco Day' once a month or so, take coolers, find a small town diner to eat for lunch and have fun. We always buy a pack of the Prime grade ribeyes. Expensive yes, but @$15.99/LB its less than most beef steaks here in town,l ess than a restaurant for sure, and cooked how we prefer them. My wife and I share one steak once a week and the quality is fantastic! I better stop while I can....

Long time Costco members. Easily pays for itself for us, for the lowest cost membership with no rebate.

We have never bought tires, batteries, gas, or electronics at a Costco. Most of our visits are by bike, occasionally walking, sometimes driving. This helps manage the impulse purchases. We buy food there more than anything else.

Hi

If you happen to be at the Anchorage Costco on just the right day, they have the best prices on fresh caught wild Salmon and Black Cod anywhere we saw. Yes, you have to get there in a pretty short period. The stuff sells out fast.

How sure am I of the source? Well, we were sitting on a boat listening to a couple of fair sized off shore fishing boats head into the harbor after being out for a few weeks. They chatted a bit about what was onboard. Stop by the Costco a few days later and yup, there it is. Indeed it could be coincidence .....

Costco: Solar Panels stocked beneath Vodka

Talk about moving stock around to catch sober customers.

Thirty Six 100 watt Solar Panels, $99 each... on lower level, beneath Kirkland Vodka. Check your local Costco. Mine is not local to you. It is not worth 1200 miles one way to buy one, when local Costco's probably have them as well.

You do not need Vodka when installing these portable panels. Just have the ability to read simple instructions and understand there is a + or - to keep everything smelling... good.

Call your local Costco and ask... and they can tell you if they have any panel in stock. Then as where the Kirkland Vodka is at... look below?

Wife was buying groceries and I was having one Propane Tank filled after two weeks Boondocking. Total Cost: $15.68 at $3.19 per gallon.

Hi

For most of the Kirkland spirits, you need to be pretty thirsty. The quality of the stuff is very good, but the size of the bottle is ... yikes ... big. You do indeed get a great deal, but you buy a lot at once. Where do you put those bottles in the RV? They take up a lot of room.

With that 10 cubic foot container of Costco paper goods, you can put 90% in the back of the truck and the rest in the RV. Eventually the truck fills up, but there is a practical way to work with it. 10% of each bottle of vodka / gin / scotch /bourbon / tequila / rye .... in the RV and the rest rolling around the truck ... not as practical. ( and we haven't even started talking about payload ratings on the truck .... yet ... )

I wish that COSTCO would start selling diesel fuel and non-ethanol ⛽️ 🤬

Hi

Usually the best price in town by 10 to 20 cents a gallon. I have seen places that beat them by the same 10 to 20 cents a gallon. It's not at all common.
