Good luck with the fires Roger. I'd rather lose a trailer than the house, but it is hard to move a house.
Last time there was so many fires was 2002 and we were in Alaska watching the Denver news and being scared about our neighborhood. Nothing happened there, but it made our trip a bit anxious. We're in Santa Fe now and trying to ignore the fires, but not succeeding.

Well, Safari #1 is hard to move, since I removed the axles a couple weeks ago. It'll be October before I get new ones. I guess I could put it up on a flatbed, but I'm going to bet on the come, as they say.
"Stuff" can always be replaced, take care of you and your family above all else. Good luck with the homestead, hopefully they can get a handle on the fires shortly and stop them from spreading any more. I saw where the FBI is now involved with the suspicion of arson as the main causes.

Palmer Lake is only on alert, but I thought I'd get the big iron moved early.

Uh oh Roger...Rob & I were wondering about you, hope the fires continue to stay at bay. Good idea though to be prepared - with as many trailers as you have, it would be too hard not to be! Stay safe ~ if you need any help with anything let us know - we don't have trailer storage, but we do have a truck to help pack stuff up or to help shuffle things around!
