CND Atlantic Provinces????

Well it is official....we are gearing up the Globe Trotter for her maiden run with her new axle. We are heading out east for a 2 week trip for the last two weeks in August.

And the kicker we have company - Parents and Brother along with an extra Doggie too. Yep you read it right 5 adults and 3 dogs. Mini Caravan - Parents and Son with Lucky will be in their new Nissan Quest - while Peter and I bring up the rear with the portable accommodation, facilities and kitchen .

Overseas was out of the question and Mom wanted nothing to do with traveling by plane "Anywhere" with what we are seeing in our society these days. And the closest we can get to getting back to the "sea" for our childhood "seaside" camping trips to Cornwall England - without popping into the States - ( heavy duty insurance for the Parents these days) is the Newbrunswick coast, PEI and NovaScotia tour of sorts.

Looking for quaint fishing villages and possibly private or nice small Camp sites with 3-way hook ups that is dog friendly (and parent friendly )

Would be great to find a nice seaside resort with Dunes. A place for the Dogs to stretch their legs - but mostly laze around like they have done all summer in this heat and humidity. Quiet campsites - preferable older adult -

Any ideas or suggestions would be most appreciated.

And for those who follow our zany adventures - nope not all of us will be in the Globe Trotter. M&D will be in the singles up front - with the emergency PP and Peter and I in the back with Haily and Taz on the floor in the kitchen. Brother Dave with Lucky will be camping out in the Yukon - with a custom screen for the back windows for ventilation.

Lucky like Taz has become accustom to the Yukon already and considers it his big dog house. The three get along great! Haily has her first real boyfriend - although she has tried to warm up to Annie's Toby for a year now - but he wants nothing to do with her - especially since he has a new sister Nikki.

Anyway - hot spots, bad spots - good local lobster dinners - breathtaking scenery - anything that will make us go - ohhhhh auuhhhhh and have a laugh would be great.

Page and I stayed in the Fundy NP campground back in June and enjoyed it thouroughly. Saw a moose on the way in. Small village of Alma was within walking distance of the HQ campground. Fun to see fishing boats circling outside the harbor entrance waiting for the tide to come in. Tremendous tides. Also saw several attractive campgrounds on the way to the Hopewell Rocks. A visit to the lighthouse complex at Cape Enrage is worth the trip as well - and enjoy a nice lunch.
