Chock blocks
My husband I were both in the fire service for 22 years. We learned a LOT about safety, for ourselves and for our rigs. Airstream gave us a plastic wheel chock, a little red one for our 2020 FC 23fb. Truth be told, that little red one is anemic for an expensive investment like this. We decided to go the route of our fire service roots, and get real wheel chocks, made of aluminum. Our LC the Rivet Ritz now will be held in place should she be in a spot that has any kind of pitch. We like the Zico brand, and found these on eBay. Here is a link if any of you would be interested in beefing up your chock blocks. https://www.ebay.com/ipp/25382681729...2047675.l48352
You can also order them directly from Grainger..

Welcome Aboard 👍
Look great for a single axle AS.

We still prefer the BAL-X Chock.

Does the aluminum chocks have some kind of claws to keep from slipping? I bought heavy rubber chocks from Harbor Freight which works great for me.

Years ago I had a pair of aluminum chock blocks that I got from my brother who was a pilot. They had a neon yellow cord between the two of them and were really wonderful. Unfortunately while camping at Myrtle Beach years ago I had a neighbor camper who had a trailer that looked like it came off the junk yard. He had nothing to block his wheels nor did he have bumper hose storage caps. At the time I had a Hi-Lo. We left our site to go to the post office and when we came back the neighbor had packed up and left. I noticed that my chock blocks were gone (that yellow pull rope was an eye catcher) and my bumper caps were also missing. I pretty much realized my neighbor decided to take them with him when he departed.

Looks like they have holes to spike them to the ground. 👍

Over the weekend we had a friend bring his 2014 FC25fb to our home(we own a ranch) and we both camped in our horse pasture. He used those blocks like you have to chock his tires. He was not on level ground, and when he unhitched I watched his AS move backwards and the tires took apart the stack of those plastic blocks. His trailer did stop after about 6”, but it scared the sh*t out of us all. If it didn’t stop it would have gone into a deep canyon. He decided after that to get something that is beefier and more sturdy. Those blocks are great for the stabilizer legs..I wouldn’t use them to chock wheels. But everyone has their own comfort levels.
