Central nj

Hi
I’m considered an essential worker and will have to travel several times internationally over the next month starting mid April.
I would like to remain separated from my family for this time.
All the campgrounds are closed. If anyone has any ideas in central NJ preferably within 1 hour of Newark airport please let me know.
I have a 16 foot Bambi and would need a secure place with access to water electric and sewer.
I am willing to pay.

Thanks

If you are doing international travel and from Florida then maybe look Miami, Orlando, or Tampa...or even Atlanta. ....for starters there are far and few campgrounds close to Newark (that are safe) period...and it is site central for infections. If you are essential to travel then your company should be finding you resources rather than a casual vacation travel forum.
My suggestion is to get your company to help find a spot or look upstate NY Poughkeepsie to Albany to see what might be open and have space available.
Good luck!!!!

Thanks for pointing out that I’m headed to a “hot spot”. I’m quite aware of what my company “should do” . My job is in central NJ and the international travel originates from there not Florida. If my company was providing lodging in between travel in NJ then I would not be asking on this site. Furthermore there are normally many good and safe camping solutions within an hour of Newark. At the moment they are all closed because of emergency government actions.
It’s a long shot but again I’m just asking if someone knows of anything available on Private property.

I guess Liberty Harbor RV Park is closed? The reservations page suggests that:

https://www.libertyharborrv.com/
https://www.camplife.com/143/reservation/step1

Have you called Colonial Airstream? Patrick Botticelli is generally very helpful, and might be able to point you in the right direction, after he hears your reasons and needs.

https://www.colonialairstream.com/

Are you a member of the WBCCI? Members offer private spots to each other. The Watchungnj Unit might be able to help:

https://watchungnj.airstreamclub.net/

Worth a shot to contact them IMO.

Good luck,

Peter

Thanks Otra
All the private campgrounds are closed except for full timers that are already there. I’ll try your other suggestions.
I remember something like Airrbnb for RVs on private property but can’t remember where I saw it.

Private.campgrounds near military bases tend to be open because so many service members live in trailers... shortage of military housing.
