Cannon RV Park at Franconia Notch NH

Hey forum people! Wondering if anyone has info on the RV campground at Franconia Notch State Park in NH. Before making reservations, like to know of any weird thing that would make me not want to go there.

Thanks
Curtis

We’ve stayed at Cannon Mtn. RV park several times over the last 5 years, there are only 7 campsites all with full hookups. The camping area is at the edge of the parking area for Echo Lake, and during the day the lot fills up with beach goers. The beach area is free for campers. There are also hiking trails right across the street and an easy climb up to Artists’ Bluff with a breathtaking view of the valley. There are also many bike trails thru the woods there. We are staying there again in mid August

Thanks for your info. Just wondering how big the camp spots are. From the few pic's it looked like they were quite close together. We are thinking of going over there after 4 nights at Sabago Lake State campground. That would put us there on the 20th of August. If we decide to go, maybe will see you there

Curtis,
The sites are close together, but there is plenty of room behind the sites with a picnic table and fire pit / grill with adjustable grate. We’ll be there the 10th thru the 14th. Dave

Stay at Country Bumpkins in Lincoln if they are open. We used them several times before the ownership change. Always fun, easy access to the Notch.
