Our '66 TradeWind...vintage campsite picture

This was Dad's first Airstream after upgrading from van camping and pop-ups. I have no idea where this was taken (I was very young), but I thought it was a great looking trailer on a nice site-

But isn’t the GPS location embedded in the digital meta-data? Right?

Only if it’s turned on. My phone does not record locations because it’s a security risk.

Most cell phone camera have location data as an option. It’s a good idea to turn this ‘feature’ off.

Camp Sherrye on the Coosa River

Brand new campground right on the Coosa River in Wetumpka, AL. Great location close to downtown Wetumpka (HGTV Hometown Takeover). Awesome river for kayaking, canoeing, fishing.

Stream 3 that looks gorgeous and really long. Almost looks like it would have a fourth set of wheels in the back.

Holland SP on Lake Michigan. Didn't realize until we got there that our site had a lake view.

OT --

Love the origin of "tepui" -- learn something new every day here -- thanks!

"A tepui /ˈtɛpwi/, or tepuy (Spanish: [teˈpuj]), is a table-top mountain or mesa found in the Guiana Highlands of South America, especially in Venezuela and western Guyana. The word tepui means "house of the gods" in the native tongue of the Pemon, the indigenous people who inhabit the Gran Sabana. Tepuis tend to be found as isolated entities rather than in connected ranges, which makes them the host of a unique array of endemic plant and animal species. Some of the most outstanding tepuis are Auyantepui, Autana, Neblina, and Mount Roraima. They are typically composed of sheer blocks of Precambrian quartz arenite sandstone that rise abruptly from the jungle, giving rise to spectacular natural scenery. Auyantepui is the source of Angel Falls, the world's tallest waterfall."

Happy Memorial Day Weekend,

Peter

Four days of fly-fishing, eating good meals, schmoozing with fellow Airstreamers and drinking good wine.
Unfortunately, zero luck on the fishing. Water was high, fast and cloudy, but fly- fishing is always good!!
All solar for power (no generators needed)!
